Execution Day

This was my final project from my Intermediate Animation class. I learned a lot through it, and wish I used a different workflow for animation. But I also learned that clean up sure takes a long time! It also showcases my first attempt at effects animation. For what I am capable of doing, I'm proud of the result!

Expression Test

Eng Bess ExpressionTestFinal from Elizabeth Eng on Vimeo.

Perhaps I take the whole "animate rough" thing too literally? It gets drawings on the page faster initially, but I'm starting to feel like it makes tie-downs more difficult to draw. But perhaps because I was drawing so rough, I got to do a test significantly longer than what I was expected to turn in. So I guess that's good!

A "before" picture

So this is a sketch from my summer portfolio sketchbook. I plan on taking a perspective class next semester. Hopefully I'll improve somewhat in the near future.

Figure Drawing!

I was supposed to make a two page spread of my best figure drawings in a class throughout the semester. It was hard to pick through the best, but at least these would be a fair representation of my work.
